The Munchkins need to get from the left side of the screen to the right side of the screen.
Well, actually, they're trying to get from places on the left side of the level to escape rockets on the right side of the level. But since you only see a screen's worth of the level at any one time, and the screen constantly scrolls rightwards through the level, you only care about the screen you can see.
As you might expect, the Munchkins aren't the sharpest bunch. They pretty much walk blindly from left to right, from wherever they appear along the left side of the screen to wherever they die, or hopefully, the escape rockets. Some of them can run and jump, some can climb, and some can even fight, but for the most part they are totally unequipped to deal with the pits, walls, traps, and evil robots along the way.
Your job is to help them. Build bridges, plant bombs, place nets, speed them up with boosters, slow them down with cages– use every gizmo you’ve got to help them along and divert them from danger.
All you know is: The Munchkins need to get from the left side of the screen to the right side of the screen.
